Capital Football Kicker's Scoring Helps Fight Cancer

Capital High football returns kicking specialist Brian Buschini for his senior season in 2018 and #16 is also bringing back his campaign to raise money for childhood cancer research.

Buschini says he is partnering with "Kick-It" through the "Alex's Lemonade Stand" foundation. He says you can go online and pledge money based on the extra points and field goals he scores or donate directly to the cause. Brian says helping kids in need is important to him.

"I feel like there's so many children who are underprivileged and if you can help them succeed in life and get through tough times then every time you can do that it benefits you and them as a whole so I really just wanted to help out the community as much as I could this year and I feel like this is one of the ways that I can do that and $2,500 is the goal for this year. I'm sure we can exceed it but that's the bare minimum hopefully," said Brian Buschini.

The online page where you can donate or pledge is called "Kick-It Capital" and it's available here.
