Pearl Jam reported a $2.1 million gross from their sold-out concert in Missoula this summer, making it the third-biggest concert ever held in Montana.
Billboard reports that Pearl Jam's reported Montana revenue ranks just behind two other major sold-out shows held at Washington-Grizzly Stadium, with Paul McCartney's 2014 concert bringing in $3.8 million and The Rolling Stones reporting $2.8 million for their 2006 concert.
Pearl Jam's Montana revenues don't quite stack up to the band's shows in major cities - they reported $7.1 million in revenues from the August show at Wrigley Field (Chicago) and $6.7 million at September's concert in Fenway Park (Boston).
The band's Montana show did make national headlines for their support of Sen. Jon Tester's reelection campaign. The band also released a commemorative poster that drew backlash from conservatives for its depiction of President Donald Trump's corpse.
