Jesse Slaughter wins race for Cascade County Sheriff

With all precincts reporting, the unofficial election results show Democratic candidate Jesse Slaughter has claimed the title of Cascade County Sheriff. He racked in a total of 17,344 votes while his Republican competitor Bob Rosipal claimed 15,510 votes.

Early numbers show Jesse Slaughter (D) is leading the polls in the race for Cascade County Sheriff.

The unofficial election results posted by Cascade County show Slaughter at 8225 votes and competitor Bob Rosipal (R) at 6966.

Bob Rosipal  (R) and Jesse Slaughter (D) are facing off to become sheriff of Cascade County.

Both will be viewing the election results tonight.

Slaughter's viewing party is open to the public, and Rosipal's is not.

Slaughter's viewing party is at The Sting Sports bar at 1121 5th St S, Great Falls, MT 59405.

"People can come, stop in say hi, hang out for the entire party or they can stop in if they're busy. Whatever they want to do it is up to them," Slaughter said.

Rosipal will be viewing results with friends and family in a more lowkey setting.

"Some of my supporters are coming over and we will watch it together. So I am kind of excited about it," Said Rosipal.
