Authorities arrested two men in Great Falls for allegedly shooting, kidnapping and robbing an 18-year-old man. 

Russel Garcia and Timothy Schreck face charges of assault with a weapon, aggravated kidnapping, and robbery, according to court documents.

Garcia and Schreck allegedly approached the victim Thursday in the Walmart parking lot on Smelter Avenue NE, claiming the victim stole items from Schreck. Garcia then reportedly shot the victim in the foot before the two forced him into their vehicle.  

The police report says Garcia and Schreck forced the victim to go get the stolen items before driving to his home, where the two men allegedly stole the victim's money. They then reportedly restrained the victim for two hours afterwards, before a third party transported him to Benefis for treatment.

Timothy Wayne Schreck and Russell Joseph Garcia were sentenced on November 4.

Timothy Wayne Schreck plead guilty to tampering with witnesses or informants and was sentenced to 10 years in the Montana Department of Corrections with five years suspended.

Russell Joseph Garcia plead nolo contendere to assault with a weapon and was sentenced to 10 years in the Montana State Prison with five years suspended.
