Hundreds of families around the country make their way to Lewistown every December to ride the North Pole Adventure. It's a special train that takes passengers to the North Pole to see Santa.
"The North Pole Adventure really has taken off," Connie Fry, the Executive Director of the Lewistown area Chamber of Commerce said. "We start our ticket sales the first Monday in October and the first two days the majority of them are gone."
A typical day involves boarding the train with your family, reading a holiday story, singing Christmas songs and finding out who is on the naughty or nice list.
Later during the evening, the train arrives at the North Pole, and Santa comes on board, saying hello to all of the children. For Santa's helpers, they say it lights up their face to see the kids excited.
"Just getting to see everyone smile," Elf Marla Villaruel said. "Having the kids be all happy and jolly."
