GREAT FALLS- Reports of multiple fires around Cascade County prompted some people in the Great Falls area to leave their homes.

According to incident commanders on the scene, two different fires broke out in the afternoon on September, 4th. One was near Hill 57, and another out near Fairfield.

Scanner traffic reported at least one of those fires was sparked due to a trailer driving down the road.

At this time, both fires appear to be contained, and there is no threat to the public.

According to the Black Eagle Volunteer Fire Department, only a small shed was lost and about 80 were acres burned.
