It's amazing when big name artists give back to the community, and the City of Browning got to experience just that yesterday. Their celebrity visitor is actually giving back to a number of towns in the treasure state and helping the youth along the way.

Pearl jam's bassist, and Big Sandy Montana native, Jeff Ament,  made a trip to Browning yesterday. As you may recall he funded a skate board park, by the name of "Thunder Park", to be built in Browning for the youth. Upon his return he gifted helmets, new skateboards, t-shirts and stickers to the crowd. Dan Reis, who is making a documentary  about the different skate parks in Montana, is traveling with Ament, and provided us with the pictures from yesterday's visit. Reis says it was wonderful to see the light in the kids' eyes.

Jshon Nerwrove one of the skaters there said,

"I met Jeff Ament and he gave me a hat and a shirt." He said if he could tell Ament something he would say, "you motivate me to skate"

Jshon  and other local skate boarders in Browning practically floated around the thunder skate park.
