Collin joined the KFBB sports team in July of 2012 as the weekend sports anchor/reporter operating out of Great Falls.
Collin graduated from the University of Colorado-Boulder in May 2011 with a degree in broadcast journalism. While at CU, Collin was the play-by-play announcer for the Colorado men's hockey team, also calling some football and basketball games. He also completed a yearlong internship at KDVR Fox 31 in Denver, covering all four professional teams. Throughout his year there, he had a chance to cover many big stories, including the Carmelo Anthony trade, Peter Forsberg retiring, the Josh McDaniels firing, and the media circus that is Tim Tebow.
Collin went to Colorado to get out of the heat of Phoenix, Arizona where he grew up. The one thing he misses about Arizona is being able to play golf year-round. On his off-days, you can find him on any one of the local courses, or snowboarding during the winter.
He is looking forward to experiencing everything Montana has to offer.
Feel free to contact him with any story ideas or questions.
