Open space bonds, Clinton School levy find strong support in Missoula

MISSOULA - Preliminary results show strong support for open space bonds and schools in Missoula County.

Voters are favoring two open space bonds and a $4 million Clinton School District levy, with 60 percent in favor for all three. Another bond for the K-12 School District No. 15-6 is showing a more slender margin of approval, with 53 percent as of 10:30 AM.

Voters also showed preference for Justice of the Peace Alex Beal, who's challenging incumbent Marie Andersen.

Incumbent Missoula County Sheriff TJ McDermott is likely to retain his seat, with 60 percent in favor over his independent challenger, Det. Travis Wafstet.
