Missoula Alliance Church Pumpkin Patch is back again

Posted: Updated:
MISSOULA -

Missoula's Great Pumpkin Patch located right next Missoula Alliance Church will open October 11 for its 13th year.

The patch features nearly 500 pumpkins grown in the small town of Paradise for families to take home this year.

The Missoula Alliance Church helps with the pumpkin patch. They say folks have more to set their sights on than just pumpkins this year, with special treats on offer.

“There's almost a farmers market feel to some of the stuff that ends up in the shed that is handmade or hand baked," says organizer Allison Sullivan. "And then we also, oftentimes on the weekends we will try to have hot cider, we will try to have hot chocolate."

Pumpkin patch proceeds sometimes go toward events, organizations or community members in need.

This year, students from the church are raising money for a mission’s trip.

The pumpkin patch will be open seven days a week, near 100 E. Foss Court.
