Tuesday night is the opening of the week-long Western Montana State Fair. Once again, admission is free.
Each night will have different musical acts, rodeos and classic fair food vendors.
This year, local artists will be in the Commercial Building showcasing and selling their art as part of the MADE Fair.
“The exciting thing is they are going to rotate out everyday and new artists will come in,” said Emily Brock, fairgrounds director. “We are having over 200 local artists featured here in the beautiful historic building.”
Gates open at 5 p.m. August 7. The rides do not open until August 8, when the gates open at 9 a.m.
