Three arrested in rollover on Broadway in downtown Missoula

MISSOULA -

The Missoula Police Department arrested three people in connection with the rollover crash near the intersection of North Higgins Avenue and Broadway around 8:30 p.m. on Tuesday. 

Police say two cars traveling in different directions were involved in the accident at the intersection. It caused one vehicle to roll over.

After the wreck, Police arrested 21-year-old Ty Belcourt for drunken driving.

Police arrested two other people in connection to the crash. One man was arrested for an obstructing an officer when he jumped out of one of the cars involved in the crash, then ran from officers. One woman was arrested for an outstanding warrant by the Montana Highway Patrol. Their names have not been released.

MPD Sergeant Michael Hebert said a woman and her infant were transported to the hospital for minor injuries.

Police say it's too early to determine the cause of the crash.
