MISSOULA -

Authorities in Missoula are searching for a man, who they consider to be armed and dangerous.

Missoula 911 sent a text alert to residents just before 9 p.m. on Monday, saying that Missoula Police were searching for a 31-year-old man, who was allegedly involved in an assault with a weapon.

Missoula Police Corporal Bob Campbell says that the incident took place in the Westside neighborhood of Missoula at about 7 p.m.

Corporal Campbell says that the suspect is described as a white man, stands six-feet tall, weighs 200-pounds, has green eyes and brown hair styled in a Mohawk.

Corporal Campbell went on to say that if you see this man, do not approach him and call 911 immediately.

This is a developing story. Stay tuned to ABC FOX Montana for further information.
