Shelter opens for residents impacted by flooding

MISSOULA -

The American Red Cross of Montana has opened an evacuation shelter in Missoula for those impacted by flooding. 

The Red Cross says more than 20 homes in Missoula County are being impacted by the Clark Fork River flooding. Many of those homes are in the Tower Street neighborhood west of Reserve Street. 

The shelter is set up at the Christ the King Catholic Church on 1400 Gerald Avenue in Missoula. It will open at 4:00 p.m. Tuesday.
