Boston's celebrates "Brawl of the Wild" with game day food

It's football season, which means it's appetizer season!

Make the most of your game day with some awesome food inspired by Boston's Restaurant. Of course, nothing beats game day at the Sport's Bar, so make your reservation today! But if you're more of a homebody, enjoy some of these recipes at home:

BOSTON’S NACHOS

Ingredients:

  • Refried black beans 4 oz
  • Spicy chicken 4 oz or Ground beef 4 oz
  • Nacho chips
  • Shredded nacho cheese 5 oz
  • Diced tomatoes 1 oz
  • Shredded iceberg mix 1 oz
  • Sour cream 1.5 oz
  • Guacamole 1.5 oz
  • Pickled jalapeños 1 oz
  • Salsa 2 fl oz

Assembly:

  1. Arrange nacho chips on a plate.
  2. Spread the refried black beans over the nacho chips.
  3. Sprinkle the shredded nacho cheese over the refried black beans.
  4. Distribute your choice of protein on top of the shredded nacho cheese.
  5. Place the diced tomatoes on top of your protein.
  6. Serve with sour cream, guacamole, salsa and jalapeños.

PEPPERONI STUFFED TWIST BREAD

Ingredients:

  • Pizza dough
  • Melted garlic butter 1 fl oz
  • Sliced pepperoni 16 ea
  • Shredded parmesan 0.5 oz
  • Nacho cheese 2 oz
  • Pizza seasoning 1 tsp
  • Marinara  4 fl oz
  • Parsley 0.01 oz

Assembly:

  1. Roll out pizza dough.
  2. Brush the dough with the melted garlic butter.
  3. Evenly distribute the sliced pepperoni, nacho cheese, shredded parmesan cheese and pizza seasoning on the dough.
  4. Cut each dough into equal strips.
  5. Twist the dough, ensuring the ingredients are on the inside and place on a pan.
  6. Place in the oven for 5 minutes.
  7. Garnish with parsley.
  8. Serve with hot marinara sauce.

    The National Weather Service has issued a flood warning for Great Falls. The Missouri River is expected to crest at 17 feet, a height that matches the historic crest of 1953, as early as the afternoon on Thursday, June 20th, and is expected to last at least into late Friday, June 21st. If you live on or near Woodland Estates Road and the Country Club area of Great Falls, prepare for flooding now.

    Lt. Governor Mike Cooney toured the flooded Sun River community today, June 22nd. Flooding began in the town earlier in the week, washing away roads, flooding homes, and trapping some people inside their town. Lt. Gov. Cooney spoke to several families, including the Opheim's. Right now, it's difficult to say how much money it will cost to repair roads and homes, but officials are working to find an answer.
    Lt. Governor Mike Cooney toured the flooded Sun River community today, June 22nd.     The body of a missing Chinook man has been found. According to Blaine County Sheriff Glen Huestis, the body of Noah Hofeldt was found Sunday evening around 5:30pm by volunteers floating the Milk River searching for Hofeldt.  Sheriff Huestis says they believe Hofeldt went missing as early as Monday, June 11th.  It is still unclear what led to the death, but foul play is not suspected.
