Montana softball beats Idaho State in doubleheader sweep

Posted: Updated:

The Montana Grizzly softball team knew it would be a critical series with the Idaho State Bengals. Coming into the doubleheader, the Griz were behind Weber State at the top of the Big Sky Conference standings by one half game. And the team responded to the pressure, beating the Bengals 1-0 in game one, and 6-3 in game two.

Here is the SWX Broadcast of game one, which saw staff ace Michaela Hood throw a four-hit shutout, and Anne Marie Petrino delivered the winning RBI hit. Shaun Rainey and Ben Wineman were on the call of the game.
