KALISPELL -

Bobcat and Griz fans around the state are preparing for the huge brawl of the wild game tomorrow.

We all know the rivalry between Bobcat and Griz fans runs deep, multiple generations deep.

One of the oldest rivalries in the country, Bobcat and Griz fans will stop at nothing to prove their loyalty.

Josh is a Montana Native and played for the Bobcats

Every year Josh’s Bobcat flag mysteriously goes missing. He says, “Oh yeah, I’ve got a former player in town here that I took his flag, and he played for the Griz.  Somehow you know, suspiciously, mine disappeared and got returned to me the next year.”

The next generations of Bobcat Griz fans are just as passionate about their team

Taden Gilman...signed with Montana State University and will play outside linebacker next year.

The Bobcats play a special role in Gilman’s family as his uncle holds the longest fumble recovery for a touchdown in Bobcat history.

Gilman says, “I have an uncle that went to MSU and played for them so my family is a Bobcat family.”

Hausmann and Gilman say game days at their houses can get pretty wild.
