Walgreens Robber Gets 4 Years in Prison

BILLINGS -

A 22-year-old Billings man is sentenced for breaking into Walgreens and stealing hundreds of prescription pills.

Travis Bell must serve 48 months, followed by three years of supervised release.

He is ordered to pay nearly $20,000 in restitution to Walgreens.

In January, Billings Police responded to a burglary.

Officers arrested Bell when he came out of the Walgreens with his pockets full of prescription pills.

Police found a plastic bag with other drugs from Walgreens in his car.

Bell said he decided to go inside and steal pills to pay off a $1,200 debt to his drug dealer.
