Posted: Updated:
BUTTE -

A man who burglarized a Laundromat in Butte is not only behind bars, but now has a laundry list of charges to answer to.

Early Tuesday morning police were called to Front Street Laundromat with reports of a man breaking into washing machines and stealing quarters.

Police arrested 49-year-old Joseph Wright in connection with the crime. Police say Wright allegedly had a bag full of quarters, burglary tools and a needle containing meth in his possession.

A staff person at the Laundromat says one of the vandalized machines will cost $6,000 to replace.

Wright is charged with theft, criminal mischief, possession of dangerous drugs, possession of paraphernalia and DUI.
