Coeur d'Alene Police searching for Zip Stop Robber

On August 24, 2014 at approximately 2256 hours, Coeur d’ Alene Police responded to a report of a robbery at Zip Trip located at 701 East Sherman Avenue. On August 24, 2014 at approximately 2256 hours, Coeur d’ Alene Police responded to a report of a robbery at Zip Trip located at 701 East Sherman Avenue.
COEUR D'ALENE, Idaho - Coeur d'Alene Police are searching for the man who robbed a Zip Stop Sunday night. 

It happened at the Zip Stop on east Sherman when a man entered the store and demanded money. He did not pull out any weapons during the robbery, but he was given money and was last seen leaving the store eastbound on foot. Officers from the Coeur d'Alene Police Department, the Kootenai County Sheriff's Office, Idaho State Police, and the Post Falls Police Department responded to the scene, but were unable to locate the robber. 

A press release sent out by the Coeur d'Alene Police Department said the suspect is 6 feet or taller, dressed in dark clothing and lighter colored pants.
