BUTTE -

29-year-old Michelle Renee Yallup of Butte who is currently serving time in a Utah jail will be brought back to Anaconda on August 22 to face charges of child endangerment.

Police say Yallup was high on crystal meth while giving birth to her son at an Anaconda hospital in June. Police say her newborn tested positive for crystal meth. Yallup left the hospital after giving birth against hospital orders which resulted in a warrant for her arrest.

Yallup was arrested on a felony warrant for criminal endangerment in Utah last month. Authorities say at the time of Yallup's arrest she had her son as well as marijuana and paraphernalia.
