Police, Father Search for Missing Missoula Man

Posted: Updated:
MISSOULA -

Missoula police help family members search for Monte Swanson, 24, a missing Missoula man who is known to hang out at transient camps.

Police say Swanson was seen earlier this month at a transient camp with 27-year-old Kevin Lino, a suspect in the death of Gilbert Berry, a man found earlier this month beaten and shot in the Clark Fork River.

Police clarify that Swanson is not a suspect in Berry's death.

They say Swanson's wallet was recently found in Wyoming.

Swanson is described as 5'8'', 220 lbs. blonde hair.

Any information should be reported to Missoula Police at (406)552-6280
