A Pasco Class Reunion Gets Some Special Musical Guests

 PASCO, WA- The Pasco High School Class of 1974 had some special musical guests to end their reunion weekend.

Pasco High School's Class of 1974 ended their calls reunion with live musical guests Christian Nesmith and Circe Link.  The two traveled to Pasco from Los Angeles.  The two have made eight records and write their own music. Christian Nesmith is the son of Michael Nesmith who performed with the Monkees.

Patty Nestor-Kossak was the chairman and said they usually have the reunion at a hotel and everything is more structured.  For their 40th, she wanted something different.

“This time was really laid back and casual, and we've never had live music before,” said Nestor-Kossak.

She said they were able to get Christian Nesmith and Circe Link through Mary Cherry, a reunion committee member. 

“She's a big supporter of Circe and I and when she asked us to come do this, we did,” said Nesmith.

Nestor-Kossak thought having the event at Magill's was a success.  They had over 100 classmates to show up.

“I honestly don't know if it'll come out like this next time, but we can hope because this has been really wonderful,” said Nestor-Kossak.

The home was fully engulfed when firefighters arrived, and firefighters say while battling the blaze they found the body of a person inside the home.

    KENNEWICK, Wash. - Officials say Palouse Falls State Park in eastern Washington was temporarily closed during a fire that burned through wild lands north of the park.

The Tri-City Herald reports that the fire started Wednesday and seemed to begin to die down until winds caused it to grow again. Franklin County Fire Districts and Adams County Fire District brought the fire under control Thursday.
