PASCO, WA- World Life Christian Center hosted their annual Back to School Bash Saturday.

World Life Christian Center hosts the event every year to help kids and parents with school supplies before school starts.

The event also had music, door prizes, food vendors, and even free haircuts for some of the kids.  Local athletic programs helped sponsor the event as well.

The church said it was a good way to reach out to the community and to provide supplies for those in need.

“We've got four kids ourselves so we understand it and just wanted to do something that helps people get ready and just hopefully takes a little bit of the burden off,” said Meredith Zamora, wife of Pastor Joey Zamora at World Life Christian Center.

The American Red Cross was also there to collect blood donations.  The event was free and saw hundreds of people.
