More than 500 people battle the largest fire in the state.

The Thompson River Complex fire burns more than 1,600 acres.

About a quarter inch of rain helped out Thursday and in total, the three fires are about fifteen percent contained.

Another lightning caused blaze, the Seepay fire 20 miles west of Dixon, stretches over more than a thousand acres. There's no word yet on any containment there.
