The Three Forks Fire Department held their first board meeting following the crash that claimed the life of their chief Todd Rummel and a family of 5.

During a somber meeting, board members and firefighters gathered to decide on a truck that will replace the truck involved in the June crash. Board members decided on a $319,000, 2013 Timberwolf fire engine.

ABC FOX Montana's Spencer Conlin did speak to the fire department's secretary about the accident and the part that was recalled, she said she was unable to comment and referred us to their attorney. She did however say that the fire department has been through a lot and the decision on their new truck is a step in the right direction to get back up on their feet.

They should receive the engine by October.
