Sweet Surprise in Neihart

GREAT FALLS -

If you're one of the 37 people who live in Neihart, you're in for a treat. Cookie giant, Oreo is sending a small surprise for the folks in Neihart and 49 other small towns across the country. It's all a part of their campaign to recognize the little things in life that often get overlooked.

Oreo said, it's their way of saying "a little thanks to the people and places who help put a little bit of wonder into the big world everyday."

Bob's Bar is one of two businesses in town, owner Tony Juntunen said his family came to Neihart in 1948 and it was the people that brought him right back.

"You can all off and forget to lock your doors and it's not a big deal, everything is going to be intact when you get back. Friendliness, there's just a lot of camaraderie in a town like this where you get a long with everyone because if you don't you've lost half your friends," Juntunen said.

Just like the filling a mini Oreo, it doesn't take much for the 37 locals roaming the 2 mile span to discover what makes living in Neihart so sweet.
