BUTTE -

Charges have been filed against the two suspects accused of killing Mark Robert Mullen. Beaverhead County Sheriff Jay Hansen filed the charges today in Justice Court.

Christopher Stiles is being charged with deliberate homicide, tampering with evidence and theft of property. Sandra Cantrell is being charged with accountability for homicide along with tampering with evidence and theft of property.

The coroner says the cause of death is homicide by blunt force trauma to the head. The county attorney Jed Fitch says a complaint in District Court is coming soon.

"I had hoped to get it done sooner but they're still conducting searches on the van and I don't have all the reports yet and we want to get that done so I hope to be able to get everything next week and review it for charges."

Both suspects are currently being held in Missoula.
