FWP Stamp Would Use Donations To Help Maintain Wolf Numbers

Posted: Updated:
MISSOULA -

In July, Montana Fish, Wildlife and Parks set the wolf kill quota for homeowners at 100, and Thursday you can learn about a new plan to get more people involved in wolf management.

At FWP headquarters in Kalispell and Missoula, officials will talk about a new wolf stamp starting at 6:00 p.m.

Money from the $20 stamp would go toward maintaining the wolf population.

Some areas that could get funding with the new program are research, education, outreach, law enforcement, and habitat projects.
