Montana State Men's Basketball to Play UCLA and Kentucky

Posted: Updated:

The Montana State men's basketball team will travel to play two of the top college basketball programs in the nation this year.

Coach Brian Fish released the Cats schedule that has both UCLA and Kentucky.

The first five regular season games will be on the road for the Cats who will visit UCLA first and make their way to Buffalo and eventually to Rupp Arena in Kentucky.

When they return home, the team will have North Dakota State who upset Oklahoma in the NCAA Tournament last year.

"To play two storied programs like that, that probably combined I don't think two other schools have won more national championships than those two,” said Coach Fish. “Certainly we want to expose our players to some things that, quite frankly, they may never see again."
