BILLINGS, Mont. -

Carmen Gonzalez is thankful for the Missing in America Project.

MIAP claims unclaimed, cremated veteran remains and gives them their proper burial.

Gonzalez lost two brothers while they were serving as marines. She said to see veterans honor their fallen brothers brings joy to her heart and tears to her eyes.

State Coordinator for the Montana MIAP Marty Malone said the job is very rewarding and he's thankful he has the chance to serve in this position.

Internment for the cremated remains will take place in a ceremony at Yellowstone National Cemetery, Saturday, July 26th, at 11 A.M.
