SPOKANE, Wash. - Spokane Police Major Crimes detectives are looking to the public to help identify a suspect who robbed Sunset Grocery on July 10th.  Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Check at 456-2233.   


On 7/10/14, just before 10:30 pm, Spokane Police received a report of a Robbery at Sunset Grocery, located in the 1900 block of W. Sunset Blvd. The caller reported a male had entered the store, demanded cash and indicated he had a weapon.  He fled the location with an undisclosed amount of cash.

Officers responded to the scene in less than one minute and set up a perimeter but were unable to locate the suspect.  

The suspect is described as:

-          A white male
-          Approximately 5’ 4” tall
-          Wearing a black baseball cap with a white and black bandanna covering his face
-          He was also wearing red tennis shoes with white soles

Northwest Incident Management Team spokesman Brendan Cowan says the fire near the town of Leavenworth was 78 percent contained Thursday morning. No injuries have been reported and no structures have been damaged.
