National Parks Creates $400 Million for Montana

4.2 million people -- that's how many of you visited national parks in Montana in 2013.

According to a new report from the National Park Service, those 4.2 million people spent nearly $400 million and supported 6,300.

The report also states areas get a return of $10 on every dollar invested in national parks.

Montana has five national parks, Yellowstone National Park, Little Bighorn Battlefield, Glacier National Park, Grant-Kohrs Ranch and Bighorn Canyon.

A separate report says Yellowstone National Park created nearly $382 million in economic benefits for Wyoming and Montana and supported 5,300.

The largest jobs categories were restaurants and lodging.
