BILLINGS, Mont. -

Fire crews responded to a mobile home fire on Ellington Avenue South West this morning.

A call came in at 10:34 saying there was smoke and flames visible on the back side of the home.

According to Battalion Chief, Terry Larson, the fire was under control within 15 minutes of crews arriving on scene.

The investigation determined the blaze was accidental, being caused by a lit cigarette next to the resident's bed.

No one was in the home when crews arrived, and no one was injured.

The home was a total loss with damages estimated at $9,000.
