Thousands To Take On Missoula Marathon 2014

Posted: Updated:

On Friday, a team of people finished putting race packets together at Runner's Edge.

Registration is closed, for the 5K, and half marathon, but there is room for more in the full marathon.

Anyone interested in signing up can do so at Saturday's expo.

Registration Director, Vic Mortiner said he still has a lot of work ahead of him, but excitement is definitely in the air.

"For me tomorrow is the biggest day, so it's a combination for anticipation and dread and what if I'd really screwed something up, but I haven't done that yet, completely, so it's just a long day. When the expo closes at 4 p.m. people will go out to the airport to pick their packets up, so it's a long day, but by now we have a better clue," Mortiner said.

The expo starts Saturday at 8 a.m. and goes until 4 p.m.

Saturday morning bus pick up for runners goes from 4:15 p.m. to 5:15 p.m. at the Adams Center.

Parking is available at the university, but folks are encouraged to park downtown and walk.
