Hanford REACH Offering Manhattan Project B Reactor Tours
The Hanford REACH Interpretive Center is partnering with the Department of Energy to offer Manhattan Project B Reactor tours for one week only.
RICHLAND, WA - The Hanford REACH Interpretive Center is partnering with the Department of Energy to offer Manhattan Project B Reactor tours for one week only.
The cost is $40 and it will include a bus ride to and from the Hanford site, lunch, and admission to the REACH. The tour departs from the REACH (1943 Columbia Park Trail, Richland) at 11 a.m. from July 14th through the 17th.
Following the week of tours will be two days where the REACH will offer some additional features.
July 18th: Storyteller's Panel of Manhattan Project History from 1-4 p.m. at the REACH. Cost is included in admission. Free for REACH members.
July 19th: Mess Hall Dinner with the Tri-City Big Band and Lindy Hop Dancing. The reception starts at 5 p.m. and dinner is at 6 p.m. The cost is $60 for REACH members and $75 for non-members. (There is a cash prize for best 1940's costume)
