Final tournament standings were on the line at Heroes Park Monday, starting with Bozeman and Mountain View for fifth place.
In the first inning, Bozeman’s Bennett Hostetler hits a shot to left, Bucks go up 2-0.
But Mountain View responds when Hunter Kasdorf drives one to right, scoring two.
It's all Bozeman from there, Jenner Kearns grounds one up the middle, scoring a run, Bozeman takes fifth place with a 9-5 win.
"I thought we battled all week long,” said Head Coach Dave Legg. “I like the way we swong the bat all week. Pitching-wide we could always be better. We have some guys who are still working through some mechanical things right now. All in all, it was a great week for this tournament."
Third place game featured Great Falls and the Billings Scarlets.
Second inning runners at the corners, Scarlets cut off the throw to second, gun the runner out at home.
In the third, Billings with runners in scoring position, great falls pitcher quest fellows grabs the come backer, still no score.
In the fourth, Billings gets on the board, Caje Golden smacks an RBI single to left, Scarlets go up 1-0.
Billings would add an insurance run, Scarlets would take third place.
In the championship it was the Helena Senators and Billings Royals.
Bottom one, Tanner Leenknecht from Billings drives one to left center, it's a bases clearing triple. The Royals would score six in the frame.
But Helena responded in the second, Danny Burton lines one to left, two runs score. They would put up six runs, it's tied at six.
An inning later, Royals play catch up, Drew Atkieson smacks one to right that would give the Royals a 9-7 lead.
The Royals would add on to their lead and go on to win 15-7.
