DEER PARK, Wash. - One home was destroyed by fire in north Spokane County Wednesday night.

Spokane County Fire District #4 Public Information Officer Megan Hill told KHQ the fire started at a home north of Riverside High School on NW Branch Road. Hill said flames were seen throughout most of the home when firefighters arrived and they began a defensive attack. There were other buildings threatened, however crews were able to contain the flames to the mobile home, however that home is a loss.

Everyone made it out safely, including all of the pets.

We do not know what caused the fire yet.
