Fugitive Friday: Wanted: Art Towers

KHQ.COM - The KHQ Crime Trackers are helping the Kootenai County Sheriff’s Office track down a fugitive on the run. His name is Art Towers. He also goes by the name of Arlington Torres. The 60 year old faced an original charge of sexual battery of a child. He’s 60 years old. He’s 5’7’’ and 185 pounds. Towers has brown and gray hair and brown eyes.

Crime Stoppers of the Inland Northwest offers a cash reward for tipsters who give information that leads to the arrest of a fugitive. The person can give a tip and still remain anonymous. Even if they choose not to use their name, the tipster is eligible for the reward. If you know where Towers is hiding out or have a tip on another wanted fugitive, call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS.

    AIRWAY HEIGHTS, Wash. - Spokane County Sheriff's Deputies are investigating a reported armed carjacking that ended with one person being shot at a hotel in Airway Heights. The incident occurred just after 4:30am Thanksgiving morning at the Best Western on S. Geiger Blvd. near the Spokane Airport. According to authorities, a guest at the hotel came down to the lobby and appeared to have been assaulted.

    MOSES LAKE, Wash. - Moses Lake Police Officers arrested 21-year-old Brittany Strong Wednesday morning after she attempted to sell stolen property via a Facebook buy and sell page. Just a week ago today she was arrested for stealing hundreds of pieces of mail in the Peninsula area of Moses Lake. Officers say they received several tips from our Facebook readers Tuesday that Strong was trying to sell two antique gold watches.
