SPOKANE, Wash. -

Action Recycling in north Spokane catches thieves trying to re-sell stolen metal all the time. Glen Ahlborn is the manager there and has seen everything from stolen wheels to copper wire.

After seeing so many stolen items show up at his store, Glen created a network to alert all recycling yards in the Pacific Northwest about stolen items. He has even risked his own safety to catch criminals and return items to their rightful owners.

If an item is stolen, he says to first call Crime Check at 509-456-2233, then call Action Recycling to let them know what items to look out for.
