Local mixed martial arts standout Elizabeth Phillips joined Sam Adams in the SWX Studio to talk about her upcoming fight in Conquest of the Cage 16 at Northern Quest Resort and Casino's Pend Oreille Pavilion next Friday, May 30, and the growing hot bed that is the Spokane area for MMA fighting. 

Phillips currently fights in the bantamweight class and is 3-1-0 in her professional career with her only loss coming in the second round of her first fight according to Sherdog.com. The 5-foot-6 cage pounder went 3-1-1 in her amateur fights. 

Phillips is fresh off her main card win in COTC 15 vs. Rachel Swatez on Feb. 28, of this year.
