SPOKANE, Wash. - Spokane firefighters were called to a Haz-Mat situation on the south hill near 38th and Cook Monday afternoon.

A homeowner was out walking his dog and when he returned, he called 911 saying he found 6 people unconscious inside the home. Firefighters said they responded with enough crews to take care of everyone, but when they conducted a sweep of the house, they didn't find anyone inside. They did however find what they called a "large drug lab," utilizing chemicals to separate THC from marijuana.

Once firefighters found the drug lab, they left the residence and informed the police department.

Spokane Police are on scene, and they are currently waiting for a search warrant to enter the home.
