Bail Set For Kalispell Man Behind Car Chase

KALISPELL -

A judge sets bail at $25,000 for the Kalispell man who led police on a car chase clear across town.

Thursday morning, a Montana Highway Patrol trooper clocked 29-year-old Antonio Rodriguez going too fast on Mennonite Church Road.

Rather than pull over, Rodriguez kept going up Montana 35, across East Evergreen Drive, and then down River Road to US 2.

Officers with MHP, the Flathead county sheriff's department, and even FWP eventually caught up to him behind Glacier Stone Supply. They outran him and his two passengers, but only arrested Rodriguez for criminal contempt and criminal endangerment.

He's supposed to be in Flathead county district court on June 19. Appearance at this omnibus hearing is required as part of his bail.
