BILLINGS -

A warrant has been issued for one of the suspects in Sunday night's shooting on the Billings south side.

Deputy Yellowstone County Attorney Ed Zink says Christopher Michelotti faces one charge of aggravated burglary. His bond is set at $500,000.

According to court documents, Michelotti and Danny Lira illegally entered the home on 8th Avenue South around 11 PM Sunday. When officers arrived, they say they noticed Michelotti had a gunshot wound in his leg. The five residents of the home say they were in the basement and noticed Michelotti in their home. Court documents indicate Michelotti had a handgun and one homeowner got his shotgun and shot Michelotti as he walked down into the basement.

Michelotti then fired three times into the basement. Documents report those shots didn't hit anyone.
