KENNEWICK, WA - This Sunday plenty of moms will feel the appreciation they deserve on Mother's Day. One mom will feel a little extra love from a local woman who wants to give back.

Mother's Day will be a little bit different for a local fashion blogger who works at the Columbia Center Mall; it is her first without her own mother. She has decided to take an emotional time in her life and turn it into a life changing moment for another.

"I just recently lost my mom to a 13 year cancer battle and I wanted to do something special to remember her and who she was, which was always giving and putting smiles on people's faces," explained Priscilla Trevino who runs local fashion blog http://www.priscillapearl.me/

Trevino works at The Body Shop at the mall. She says she would have enjoyed giving her own mom a makeover, but because she cannot, she would like to make another mom's day instead.

"Being a mom can often times be a thankless job because it's just an every day thing, so i thought it's be something very special to give back to our community and this very special mom."

When she is not working, she is blogging. She puts together entire outfits and looks to inspire women and their fashion styles. It keeps her happy even if she feels a bit sad.

"I really try to just focus on the things that she was about and all the happy times. It's easy to get sad, but it's even better to remember what really matters."

For Trevino, what matters most is making people look beautiful. This week people can submit entries for moms that deserve to be pampered. The winner will get a head to toe makeover & photo shoot that totals over $1,000 in value. Her belief is when that mom looks good she will also feel good.

"I want her to remember that even though being a mom 24/7 every day, and sometimes things can get hectic, that she's an awesome person inside and out."

If you have a special mom in mind that you think might enjoy that makeover you can submit entries to priscillaptrevino@gmail.com

The winner will be announced on Mother’s Day.
