CRIME TRACKER: 9 Fugitives Captured, 5 Remain On Loose

KHQ.COM - Two more people who were on the run from the law are behind bars this morning. Aramis Turner and Cori Huartson were both featured in the KHQ Fugitive Friday segment and now they’re both under arrest.

Cori Huartson was wanted for identity theft. A tipster called Crime Stoppers of the Inland Northwest with information on Huartson’s whereabouts. Investigators caught up with her and put her away.

Crime Stoppers tells KHQ that Aramis Turner was also arrested. There were two warrants out for Turner, who has a13-year criminal history with convictions of burglary possession of stolen property, drugs and malicious mischief. Spokane Police identified Turner during a traffic stop over the weekend and made the arrest.

The new helicopters will replace the aging Air One chopper that the Sheriff's office uses right now. On Friday we got a first hand look at one of the two helicopters, which were donated by the U.S. Army and cost taxpayers nothing.
