UPDATE: KENNESAW, Ga. (AP) - Authorities in suburban Atlanta say a 19-year-old man shot six people at the FedEx package-sorting center where he worked before fatally shooting himself.

Police in Cobb County say Geddy Kramer also had several homemade explosive devices when he went to the facility in Kennesaw Tuesday morning, but none of those were detonated. Police did not disclose a motive for the shootings.

Police say a 28-year-old man who underwent surgery was in critical condition late Tuesday, while a 52-year-old woman who underwent surgery was upgraded to stable. A 22-year-old man's condition was also upgraded to stable.

Among the others wounded were a 42-year-old woman and two men, ages 38 and 19.

UPDATE:
KENNESAW, Ga. (AP) - A doctor says three victims are in critical condition - and two of them with life-threatening wounds - after they were shot multiple times at a FedEx station outside Atlanta.

In all, six people were wounded in the shootings Tuesday morning, and the suspected gunman was found dead from an apparent self-inflicted gunshot.

Dr. Michael Nitzken at Wellstar Kennestone hospital told reporters two of the victims had been treated and released while a third remained at the hospital and was stable. He said each of them had wounds consistent with shotgun blasts.
