MISSOULA -

A community event to bring the victims of the Mount Jumbo avalanche and volunteers together is set for next month. The event will be held May 11 at Ten Spoons Winery. Organizers said it will be a pot luck, and live music and activities will take place.

The event will honor all of the volunteers and victims, and remember Michel Colville, who passed away after the avalanche. More than 300 prayer flags made by community members and people across the nation will hang at Caras Park until the community event, where they will be hung at the vineyard.
