BDH and Health Department Offer No Cost Vaccines

Posted: Updated:
BOZEMAN - The Gallatin County - City Health Department is teaming up with Bozeman Deaconess Hospital to offer free vaccines to those without health insurance.

Bozeman Deaconess Hospital is paying for routine vaccines that will be administered at the health department downtown.

If you do have health insurance and still want to get the vaccines, you are asked to bring your insurance card.

Community Care Connect will set up their bus outside and offer free adult health screenings.

Health department officials said having an event like this can save people a lot of money.

“If we can get our immunizations, we do our preventative health work, we can save health care costs down the road, but for a lot of people that cost can be prohibitive,” said Matt Kelly, Gallatin County - City Health Department officer.

The event will run from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday.

If you would like, you can set up an appointment by calling the health department at 406-582-3100.
