Bozeman Bucks Poised for Successful Season

Posted: Updated:
Stability is important in any part of life. Especially with your head coach. This is Dave Legg's 3rd year as the Bucks head coach. He makes sure his guys to the little things right.

"Playing defense. That's going to be one of our. Well as Bucks I think we're going to improve on our defense just all the work we've put in the off season so hopefully we can contribute that to the games as well," said senior Conner Linebarger.

"We put a lot of pressure on other teams on offense. We run the bases well. We play small ball. We do the small things that other teams don't necessarily do," said head coach Dave Legg.

The lack of depth on the mound might be a concern this Summer.

"We don't have an many pitchers as we did last summer so we'll have guys jump in that don't normally play pitcher. They just need to get innings and get used to it," said Linebarger.

After a top 4 finish at State last year, look out for the Bucks in August!

"We have really high expectations this year. The biggest goal is to win and to win at state. Coach Legg has pretty high expectations for us," said Tucker Gill.

"I think they're pretty high. They should be we have we have a good group here. Then we have some super seniors coming back which are going to help us out. If we can throw strikes on the mound which is something we're getting better at and make the plays defensively, I think we're going to win," said Legg.
